No, I'm not interested

I'm not ready, It's getting late

I want my first time to be special

You're crazy

I want to be loved, not make love

Not until we are married

With all these diseases going around?

 I don't like kids

I can't afford kids

Rub my back instead

I'm scared

I know your reputation!

I'm waiting for the right time

Let's get something to eat

We're too young

I don't feel comfortable

I don't sleep around

I've got homework

I'd rather watch the game

I want to stay a virgin

It's against my values

I don't want to have kids now

You'll tell everyone

My parents are waiting for me

This isn't the right time

I don't want to get pregnant

I am not ready to commit

My friends will be here any minute

It might ruin our friendship

I'm afraid to get HIV

I'd be sorry later

I want to know you better

Let's Wait

I want to stop now

Thanks anyway

School comes first

I'm feeling sick

It's getting late

I have to go now

You're just using me

Is that all you think about?

I said, NO and I mean it!

Not everybody's doing it, I'm not!

It's against my religion

My parents would kill me

I think I hear my dad

We can find other ways to express love

I'm not sure you are the right person

Please respect my wishes

It's not worth it!

High school students in Kansas

and California were asked to come up

with ways to say no when someone asked

them to have sex when they didn't want to.

This is some of their responses.

Questions and Answers

Q: Is it true a girl can get pregnant

the first time she has sex?

A:  Yes!!  Many teens think that

 a girl can't get pregnant

the first time-WRONG!

It only takes one sperm and

one egg to get pregnant.

Did you know:  Over 300

million sperm are released

when a male ejaculates-only

one of those millions is

 needed to get someone

pregnant!

Q:  How long can you go

before getting treatment

for an STD (sexually

 transmitted disease)?

A:  You shouldn't wait if you

think you have an STD.

There are over 30 STD's

that can kill you if you are

 not treated.  Some common

symptoms of easily curable

 STD's are yellowish discharge,

pain upon urination,

or pain during sex.  If you

 are worried, have it checked

out.  Talk to your doctor or

call the clinic at the Pueblo

City/ County Health Department

 at 719-583-4380.

  Q.  What Causes My Voice to Change?

A.  At puberty, guys' bodies

begin producing a lot of the

hormone testosterone,

which causes changes in

several parts of the body,

 including the voice. For starters,

a guy's larynx, also known

as the voice box, grows bigger.

The larynx, which is located in

the throat at the top of the

trachea or windpipe, is like a

hollow tube about 2 inches high.

The larynx is responsible for

creating the sound of your voice.
