How to Walk Away From Peer Pressure
It is tough to be the only one who says "no" to peer pressure, but you can do it. Paying attention to your own feelings and beliefs about what is right and wrong can help you know the right thing to do. Inner strength and self-confidence can help you stand firm, walk away, and resist doing something when you know better. We know it is hard to express your feelings!
There's nothing like poetry
for getting it all out.
We suggest you try to write your feelings down on paper.
Some people write poems to
express their feelings and others
like to keep a journal.
If you would like to share
your poems about being
in foster care, send
them to us.
Help us help your peers
understand that
they are NOT ALONE.
